Our safeguarding policy provides our committee members and any other people working in Sri Lanka on behalf of Sri Lanka Karuna Inc. with a high-level oversight and accountability around our safeguarding efforts for the children we care for and work with.
We strive to protect the privacy of the children and young women we support by ensuring we obtain their permission before including any photos on our website, in our newsletter or in any other media distributed by Karuna Sri Lanka that may show their faces or identify them to a third party. Below is the form we ask them to complete which is also provided to them in Sinhalese.
